President
As president, and a principal in the firm, Douglas provides the leadership for Community Realty Company’s two divisions CRC Commercial and CRC Multifamily. He is responsible for the overall corporate management and operations of all departments, managers, and administrative staff.
Douglas is an active principal in numerous highly-acclaimed multifamily, commercial, and retail real estate developments as well as the acquisition, repositioning and renovation of many income-producing properties throughout the Washington, D.C. region.
Douglas is a member of the Washington Board of Realtors, Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), the Apartment and Office Building Association, and serves on the multi-family development council of the Urban Land Institute.
He holds Real Estate Broker's licenses in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia; and the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation, as awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
A graduate of Towson University with a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Douglas has also completed graduate studies in real estate and urban development at The American University in Washington, D.C. |

Vice President, Commercial Leasing and Sales
Dennis Burke has been active in property management and commercial leasing in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area since 1966 and joined CRC in 1979. As Vice President of Commercial Leasing and Sales, Dennis heads up CRC Commercial, the division of CRC responsible for commercial properties, and supervises our team of commercial leasing and sales agents. He directs marketing activities for more than two million square feet of office, medical, retail, and warehouse space.
A graduate of the University of Maryland (BA and BS) and The American University (MA), Dennis has done graduate work in real estate and urban development at The American University and Johns Hopkins University.
Dennis is a licensed Maryland Real Estate Broker, and Certified Property Manager (CPM) as awarded by The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Maryland Association of Realtors (MAR), and the Greater Washington Association of Realtors (GWCAR). |

Director of Property Management
Bill is responsible for overseeing the management operations for all multifamily, office, medical, retail, and warehouse properties.
Bill joined CRC in 1994 after retiring from the U.S. Air Force with 23 years of service. In the Air Force, Bill worked as Chief of the Intelligence Systems Division in Europe, where he was responsible for the identification of user needs, for the installation of all new Air Force intelligence computer systems, and for the construction/modification of intelligence facilities/complexes at the major U.S. airbases in Europe.
He holds a Real Estate Sales license in Maryland, and has worked as both a multifamily and a commercial property manager.
Bill holds a Bachelors degree in Government, and Masters degrees in International Relations and in Computer Systems Management (University of Southern California). |
